2026 Once Again in Full Swing

Throughout 2026, our company, Moravské potravinářské strojírny, a.s., continues to carry out major projects for customers in the Czech Republic and abroad.

Two complete bread production lines that were in production at the beginning of the year have already been successfully installed and commissioned at our customers’ facilities. At present, production is continuing on another technological line designed for tin bread. This is a technically demanding piece of equipment that builds on MOPOS’s many years of experience in bakery technologies.

For one of our major Czech customers in the malting industry, we are manufacturing Saladin box turners. This is the second stage of a plant modernisation project following the first stage completed in 2024. The new equipment is gradually replacing the original MOPOS machines, which had been operating reliably at the customer’s facility for 35 years. This project confirms both the long service life of our technologies and the customer’s confidence in MOPOS, having once again chosen our solution after many years.

Another important project is the production of an upgraded system for the visual finishing of bread dough pieces for a Czech customer. The equipment features a dual scoring system specifically designed for particular products, combining longitudinal and diagonal cuts. We use similar customised solutions in many other projects based on the individual requirements of our customers. We continue to follow our motto: “Our equipment gives bakery products their shape.”

We have also achieved a significant success in international business. In recent days, we concluded a contract with a French company operating its own production plant in Serbia. For MOPOS, this represents entry into a new long-term project and brings another technical and commercial challenge. At the same time, the project confirms that MOPOS continues to strengthen its position in international markets and establish cooperation with major foreign partners.

Another international project is currently being prepared with our French customer in Kazakhstan. This project represents the next stage in the reconstruction and modernisation of a malting plant with an annual production capacity of 80,000 tonnes of malt. Final negotiations regarding the continuation of this major project are currently underway.

Our current projects confirm that MOPOS is able to build on its long-standing manufacturing experience, modernise technologies that have been in operation for many years, and at the same time successfully enter new international markets. We continue to place strong emphasis on technical quality, long equipment lifetime and solutions tailored to the specific needs of our customers.

An important and stable part of our production programme is subcontract manufacturing of large machined weldments for customers in Italy and Germany. Our strong position in this field has been further confirmed by recent face-to-face negotiations with our Italian customer, who is seeking to conclude a multi-year contract with MOPOS.
